RhodeCode 5.2 & 5.3 are officially live

Hi, community!

We’re excited to announce that RhodeCode 5.2 & 5.3 are officially live! Thanks to your feedback, we’ve fine-tuned this release to give you more control, security, and flexibility.

What’s new in RhodeCode 5.3?

S3 Artifact Storage Integration
Now you can manage large files more efficiently with our new S3-based storage solution, making it easier to scale your workflows without impacting performance.

Enhanced Security Controls (Enterprise Edition)
For better protection, a new security tab lets admins whitelist specific VCS client versions, blocking outdated clients with vulnerabilities. We’ve also resolved critical security issues to prevent permission leaks and enhance data protection.

Azure SAML Authentication Support
Simplified identity management with full Azure SAML support is available, offering smoother integration with enterprise authentication systems.

Additional Upgrades:

  • Updated dependencies to ensure top performance and security.
  • JSON logging support in gunicorn, enhancing monitoring and integration.
  • A more secure SSH wrapper and simplified configuration options for large file handling.

This release also includes improvements for email notifications, branch permissions, and LDAP handling, plus a new Kubernetes deployment guide.
