Git LFS support?

Hello,

We’re planning on adopting a centralized solution for hosting our repositories, but might need Git LFS support for this. I saw this ticket saying it’s planned for version 4.7, but I’d like to know when it’s expected to be released, iIs there some ETA for this?

This should be a part of 4.7 release, it’s roughly planned to be released in first days of April.

So just as a quick update we have a working LFS backend now implemented, but it will only support LFS API 2.0 that works with latest LFS client, we’ll deploy this soon to code.rhodecode.com which is our public instance for testing.

  • if time permits we’ll add some additional feature like beeing able to download LFS or Mercurial Large files from web interface.

Git LFS support has been shipped with RhodeCode 4.7 series.
