Hi,
I’m unable to find any information on how to download the installer for RhodeCode 4.x.
This is what used to work for years, but now returns a 502 Bad Gateway:

we do not longer support 4.X installation it has been deprecated for a very long time, and we removed those. Please follow 4.X → 5.X Migration Migration to Docker & Rcstack - RhodeCode rcstack 5.36.5 documentation
I am sorry, you what?
4.x is working perfectly fine for us. We have a fully working automatic setup using Vagrant, which I spent considerably time back then to get working. I do not have the time or resources, especially in an emergency situation like this, to completely change my setup. RC 5.x requires Docker, we do not even have Docker on that machine.
All I need is that installer to again have a working setup. I spent like several hours by now searching the internet, and nothing is to be found. This is highly frustrating.
Yes, I know, I should have made a copy of that installer on our local machine. It never occurred to me that that might be necessary. Why would anyone delete old versions of their software. Every website I have ever seen has a list of old releases, where I can download old versions of their software. And why not, it costs them exactly nothing to keep them around.
It seems, I (again) trusted an external party to act responsibly and not delete stuff that people might depend on. Seems the left-pad disaster, Atlassian permanently deleting data of paying customers, and countless other incidents like this have taught me nothing.

i understand your frustration, but we did multiple announcements on that. We simply don’t have technical capabilities to support old installer infrastructure.
We’ll be happy to upload old installer to a s3 bucket so you can download a copy and have your setup working again. If that is an option we can do this.

Oh, yes, that would be absolutely fantastic. We have 4.27.1, which I think is the latest 4.x release.
If I get this up and running again, I think my colleagues will buy me a beer, which I will gladly forward to you.

But as 4.27.1 was released on Oct 12 2022, and that is also the timestamp of the latest linux installer, I would very much guess it is this file: RhodeCode-installer-linux-build20221012_1600
