Customize root/dashboard page

Hello,

I’d like to add some basic text to the dashboard page, to give basic info to new users, but couldn’t find how to do it, is there something that makes it easy (and optionally resilient to future upgrades)?

Hi Charles,

You can use the Custom Header Code under admin > settings > global to put server announcement. It takes CSS/JS+ html so it’s highly customizable.

Check server announcement for an example. With this code one can also change other aspects, such as logo on the main page etc.
