Community edition for windows

#1

Hello

Can I Install community edition on windows server 2012?

#2

I’m also wondering this. I did the install on Ubuntu 14.04 and it was a breeze. However, I am stuck on a Windows Server 2012 R2 server for production.

Hi,

Would a OVA image be suitable for you for windows ?

We actually have EE .exe installer for windows that works on top of cygwin, however we’re much concerned about the performance for that solution. Currently we do not expose it to public.

I would love to learn how much of a need is windows installer for you guys.

Hi, marcin

now I use old RhodeCode 1.6.0 and I install it with “pip install”. This method now dont work?

Is rhodecode still on python? I can install dependences manually and then run “setup.py install”

If possible, I dont want run VM on my windows server

Hi, Yes RhodeCode is still python, however we stopped doing any windows specific fixes, i think if you want to test it via pip install  then it could work on windows.

How many users do you have ?

#6

We have ~ 10 users. Here https://pypi.python.org/pypi/RhodeCode/2.2.6 I found only old 2.2.6
